Purpose

The Youth Justice Plan outlines the multi-agency strategy to prevent and reduce youth offending under the guiding principle of "Child First". The plan benchmarks and notes recent performance data, and sets priorities for the coming year.

Decision

AGREED: That Cabinet noted the report and:

i)             Recommended that Council adopted the Youth Justice Plan 2026/27.

ii)            Took note of the progress achieved in 2025/26.
