Decision to extend the contract by 2 months to facilitate the procurement process.

Reasons for the decision

If employees are unable to complete essential training they will not meet legal requirements for adult social care training

Alternative options considered

Option 1: let existing contract run down, leaving the council without an Adult Social Care e-learning provider for 2 months. This would put the council at risk (see risks).
