Approve the recommendation to include additional provider onto the Council Domiciliary Care Framework. (House of Caring Services).

Reasons for the decision

A tender to join the framework has been received which has been evaluated and has successfully completed the 3 stage Pre Qualification Criteria.
Following review of the Tender documentation submitted, the Executive Director of Adult Services, Health and Communities has approved the proposal for this company to join the framework with immediate effect.
The constitution provides delegated authority (Under Part 5 of the scheme of delegation to officers) and in accordance with the Cabinet Paper, to permit the Executive Director of Adult Services, Health and Communities to approve this proposal.
This will ensure a dynamic and diverse care market in the local area, in accordance with the Market Shaping duties of the Local Authority.
