Decision

To award the works for the repair, treatment, cleaning and redecoration of building fabrics at Braywick Leisure Centre. Decision forms part of the authority to administer procedural mechanism for the Leisure Contract.

Reasons for the decision

To prevent current issues getting worse, and to improve the perception of the building. All items included in the above cost are RBWM's contractual responsibility to repair/maintain/replace, according to Leisure Contract Asset Matrix.

Alternative options considered

Do nothing – If not done, issues needing repair will worsen and potentially cost more to rectify later on if not resolved soon. Redecoration and cleaning, if not approved, will dampen customer perception of the facility and the Council's willingness to look after the community asset.
