Purpose

We will be requesting authorization to tender
and award two contracts for the supply, installation,
commissioning, operation and maintenance of on-street Electrical
Vehicle Charger Points within the Borough, utilising the Local
Electric Vehicle Infrastructure grant.

Cabinet noted the report and:
i)                
Delegated authority to the Executive Director of Place, in
consultation with the Cabinet Member for Highways & Transport
and Customer Service Centre, to tender through a competitive
procurement exercise for two contracts, utilising the LEVI Capital
fund.
ii)              
Delegated authority to the Executive Director of Place, in
consultation with the Cabinet Member for Highways & Transport
and Customer Service Centre, to approve the award of the resulting
contracts in accordance with the delivery of the Electric Vehicle
Chargepoint Implementation
Plan.
