When Cabinet approved the new Domiciliary Care
framework in 2022, delegated authority was given to the Executive
Director Adults, Health and Communities to agree contractual
arrangements with providers who successfully completed the Tender
process, using the Dynamic Purchasing System at any time over the 5
year life of the contract framework. One of the features of the new
framework is that it remains open to entrants throughout the 5 year
life so that providers can submit documentation for scrutiny at any
time during this period. This decision form therefore documents
approval to Better Life Care, a Slough based CQC Rated "Good"
provider, to join the framework with immediate effect, having
successfully completed the 3 stage Pre Qualification Criteria.
Following review of the Tender documentation submitted, the
Executive Director, People Services has approved the proposal for
this company to join the framework with immediate effect.
