Purpose

This report will seek delegated authority to
take the necessary decisions relating to the land for the proposed
new special school in Windsor.

Content

AGREED: That Cabinet
noted the report and:

      
i.         
Delegated authority to the Executive Director of Place Services
in consultation with the Cabinet Member for Planning, Governance
and Asset Management, to:
a. conclude the land transfer from the developer of the
site to the Council.
b. conclude and enter into an agreement for lease with
the Department for Education to enable the construction of the new
school.
c. conclude the leasing of the entire land holding on a
new 125-year lease to the Department for Education or the
Multi-Academy Trust once construction has been completed.
d. conclude the necessary wayleave and connection
agreements to allow utilities to be brought to site.
