About

The Executive is responsible for making key decisions within the council's established policies and budget. It proposes new policies and significant decisions to the full Council, ensuring corporate standards are consistently applied across the borough.

Comprised of seven councillors appointed by the Leader, the Executive's meetings are open to the public, except when confidential matters are discussed. Residents and workers in the borough can submit written questions to the Executive or the Leader in advance of meetings, with a dedicated public question time held at each session.
