Blame Gloria, Ground Floor and Basement, 20 Bedford Street, London, WC2E 9HP

The committee granted a variation to the premises licence for Blame Gloria, located at 20 Bedford Street, London, WC2E 9HP, to increase the venue's capacity. The maximum number of persons permitted on the premises (excluding staff) will now be 190, with no more than 20 on the ground floor. This decision was made despite the premises being located within the West End Cumulative Impact Zone, where there is a presumption to refuse such applications. The decision to grant the licence until 02:00 hours was made on balance, considering the operator's explanation of their business, the lack of objections from the Metropolitan Police or residents, and the agreed conditions. These conditions include requirements for SIA-licensed door supervisors from midnight, CCTV, incident logging, staff training, and measures to manage noise and litter.
