The Committee of Aldermanic Almoners, Common Council Governors and Donation Governors of Christ's Hospital met on Wednesday 27 May 2026. During the meeting, Jamel Banda was elected as Chairman and James St John Davis was elected as Deputy Chairman. Discussions also took place regarding efforts to raise the profile of Christ's Hospital among members of the wider Court.

Raising the Profile of Christ's Hospital

Members discussed strategies to increase awareness of Christ's Hospital among the wider Court. The Chairman, Jamel Banda, noted that engagement at events such as visits to the School or the Maths Challenge had been limited. He expressed concern about over-communicating with Members, while also acknowledging that visits to the School incurred significant costs and placed demands on the School's time and staff resources. Suggestions put forward by Members included advertising the School within Member Briefing information and encouraging Committee Members to invite other Members to visit the School on key dates.
