The Executive Decision meeting of Waltham Forest Council on Wednesday 6 January 2016 agreed to award a framework agreement for supported living services for people with learning disabilities. This agreement will be for a term of four years, commencing on 21 January 2016.
Framework Agreement for Supported Living Services
The council has agreed to award a framework agreement for the provision of supported living spot purchase placements for people with learning disabilities. This decision follows a Cabinet decision in April 2015 to procure such an agreement. The Deputy Chief Executive, Linzi Roberts-Egan, agreed to award the Framework Agreement to the providers detailed in Table 1 of the report, for a term of four years starting on 21 January 2016. Appendix 1 of the report outlines the council's evaluation process for provider bids, while Appendix 2 provides details on the outcome of each provider's bid, including quality and pricing.
The Deputy Chief Executive, Linzi Roberts-Egan, is a senior officer within Waltham Forest Council, responsible for services related to families. Mathew Pelling, Service Design Lead, and Nicola Cox, Democratic Services Officer, were also present at the meeting.
