The High Wycombe Town Committee met on Wednesday 20 May 2026, electing Councillor Ed Gemmell as its new Chairman. The meeting also received apologies for absence from Councillor K Ahmed.
Election of Chairman
The committee elected Councillor Ed Gemmell as its Chairman for the ensuing year. Councillor H Arthur-Hewitt proposed Councillor J Wassell for the role, which was seconded by Councillor I Hussain. However, Councillor L Clarke OBE then proposed Councillor E Gemmell, seconded by Councillor D Hayday. Following a vote by show of hands, Councillor E Gemmell was elected.
