The Licensing Sub-Committee of Hillingdon Council is scheduled to convene on Thursday 11 June 2026 to consider an application for a new premises licence. The primary focus of the meeting will be an application for a one-day music and cultural event.
Application for Premises Licence: Susegad Beatz 2026
The main item scheduled for discussion is an application for a new premises licence for Susegad Beatz 2026, to be held at the Harlington School grounds, Pinkwell Lane, Hayes, UB3 1PB. The event is proposed for Sunday 26 July 2026 and anticipates an attendance of up to 4,999 people.
The application seeks permission for several licensable activities, including:
- The sale of alcohol for consumption on the premises, from 12:00 to 21:00.
- Live music, recorded music, and performances of dance outdoors, from 12:00 to 21:30.
- The premises would be open to the public from 12:00 to 21:30 on the day of the event.
The application has attracted representations from several responsible authorities, including the Environmental Protection team, the Food Health and Safety team, the Metropolitan Police, and the Licensing Authority. Additionally, a representation has been received from Goals Heathrow, a business located adjacent to the proposed site.
The report pack indicates that concerns have been raised regarding the potential for public nuisance from noise, public safety issues related to temporary structures, power, sanitation, and emergency access, and the prevention of crime and disorder due to a lack of detailed operational plans. The protection of children from harm has also been highlighted as a concern, particularly regarding underage drinking and safeguarding measures.
The report pack includes detailed appendices outlining the event management plan, site layout, traffic management, security arrangements, medical provision, and fire safety measures. These documents detail the steps the applicant, Goan Musical Events (UK) Limited, proposes to take to promote the four licensing objectives: the prevention of crime and disorder, public safety, the prevention of public nuisance, and the protection of children from harm.
The committee will consider the application in light of these representations and the applicant's proposed operating schedule and conditions. The outcome of this consideration will be detailed in the official minutes of the meeting.
The meeting is scheduled to take place on Thursday 11 June 2026 at 10:00 in Committee Room 5 at the Civic Centre, High Street, Uxbridge, UB8 1UW. The public and press are welcome to attend and observe the proceedings.
