This review had been initiated due to an increase in member enquiries regarding dangerous powered two-wheelers and the negative impact of abandoned dockless bikes on accessibility for vulnerable road users. The review aimed to explore what further measures could be implemented to ensure the safety of those walking and cycling in the borough, in line with the objectives of the council's Walking and Cycling Action Plan. The report detailed recommended actions and next steps for the review, covering areas such as safety and education, enforcement, public consultation and engagement, infrastructure, and collision data.
