The Appeals Board of Gloucestershire Council met on Tuesday 8 September 2026 to consider home to school transport appeals. The Board approved the public and exempt minutes from the previous meeting held on 7 July 2026. Councillor Stephen Davies was appointed as Chairperson for this meeting.

Hearing of Appeals

The Board considered four cases concerning appeals against charges for home to school transport. The details of these appeals were heard in private session, with the press and public excluded from the meeting in accordance with Section 100A of the Local Government Act 1972. This exclusion was due to the nature of the information being discussed, which included details relating to individual applications for services and financial assistance, as well as the financial and business affairs of particular individuals.
