The Scottish Borders Council Pension Board is scheduled to meet on Thursday, 17 September 2026, to consider minutes from a previous meeting and discuss matters arising from a joint meeting with the Pension Committee. The board will also address an appointment to a sub-committee.
Appointment to Pension Fund Investment and Performance Sub-Committee
A key item scheduled for discussion is the appointment of a representative to the Pension Fund Investment and Performance Sub-Committee. This appointment is to fill a vacancy within the committee.
Joint Meeting of Pension Committee and Pension Board
The board is scheduled to consider any issues that need to be raised from a recent joint meeting with the Pension Committee. This discussion is allocated 10 minutes.
Minutes of Previous Meeting
The board is scheduled to consider the minutes from the meeting held on 6 July 2026. This item is allocated 2 minutes.
Private Business
The meeting is scheduled to move into private business, where the public will be excluded. Following this, the board will consider the private minutes from the meeting held on 6 July 2026, and any issues arising from the private business discussed at the joint meeting of the Pension Committee and Pension Board.
The Pension Board's membership includes Councillor Julie Pirone (Chair) and Ms N McArthur, Ms L Murray, and Mr R MacNay as Scheme Employer Representatives. Mr D Bell (Vice-Chair), Mr M Drysdale, Ms K M Hughes, and Mr A Stavert serve as Scheme Member Representatives. Enquiries regarding the meeting can be directed to Declan Hall.
