Open Council Network is an independent organisation. We report on Greater London Authority and are not the council. About us
The London Assembly convened for Mayor's Question Time on Thursday, 15 October 2026, to scrutinise the Mayor's actions and policies. Key discussions included the settlement of legal action brought by Palantir against MOPAC, the Government's new housing policies, and the Mayor's performance in delivering services for Londoners. Following debate, the Assembly agreed by general consensus an amendment stating: That the Assembly notes the answers to the questions asked, stands in opposition to discrimination and racism, including antisemitism, and objects to political statements that have caused distress and fear among some of London's communities.
