The Overview and Scrutiny Committee is scheduled to consider a call in
regarding the award of contracts for heat supply arrangements for the Selby Urban Village development. The committee will also review exempt information related to this matter.
Selby Urban Village Heat Supply Contracts
A significant portion of the meeting is expected to focus on the call in
of a decision concerning the award of contracts for heat supply arrangements at Selby Urban Village. This process allows a committee to review a decision made by the Cabinet. The report pack indicates that several documents will be made available for consideration, including a joint report from the Monitoring Officer and Section 151 Officer, the public Cabinet report on the award of contracts, the relevant Cabinet minutes, and a copy of the call-in request itself. Additionally, a report from the Corporate Director for Culture Strategy and Communities responding to the call-in is also scheduled to be presented.
The committee will also consider exempt information pertaining to the Selby Urban Village heat supply contracts. This information is defined as relating to the financial or business affairs of any particular person (including the authority holding that information)
under the Local Government Act 1972.
The meeting is scheduled to be chaired by Councillor Lucia das Neves, Chair of Overview and Scrutiny. Other councillors attending include Councillor Luke Cawley-Harrison, Leader of the Liberal Democrat Group, Councillor Anne Gray, Councillor Marc Jenner, and Councillor Adam Small. Co-opted members Christine Cordon (North Harringay Primary School) and Camilla Borwick-Fox (Ferry Lane School) will also be present. The meeting will be held at George Meehan House, 294 High Road, Wood Green, N22 8JZ, and will be available to watch live or as a recording online.
