Housing Strategy 2024-2029
The Cabinet approved the Housing Strategy 2024-2029, which aims to address the housing needs of Peterborough residents over the next five years. Councillor Dennis Jones highlighted the importance of the strategy, stating, This comprehensive plan will ensure that we meet the housing needs of our growing population while also addressing issues of affordability and quality.
Healthier Food and Drink Advertising Policy

Purchase of a Property for Use as a Home for Children
The Cabinet approved the purchase of a property to be used as a home for children in care. The decision is part of the Council's ongoing efforts to provide safe and supportive environments for vulnerable children. The property will be managed by the Council's Children's Services department. Councillor Shabina Qayyum emphasised the importance of this decision, stating, Providing a stable and nurturing home for children in care is one of our top priorities, and this purchase is a significant step towards achieving that goal.
