Summary
The Place Scrutiny Panel of North Lincolnshire Council met on 18 June 2024 to discuss the strategic review of Home Choice Lincs, presented by Rachel Johnson and James Jellinek. The panel resolved to inform the Cabinet Member of their comments and observations on the report and requested to review the decision-making report on the future of Home Choice Lincs.
Home Choice Lincs
Rachel Johnson, the council’s Head of Housing, Rehabilitation and Recovery, and James Jellinek, the council’s Lead Officer Housing Advice and Homelessness Prevention, presented Campbell Tickell’s final report following its strategic review of Home Choice Lincs. The review included several recommendations aimed at improving the service.
The panel engaged in a detailed discussion with the council officers about the findings and recommendations of the report. The Chair facilitated this discussion, ensuring that all panel members had the opportunity to voice their opinions and concerns.
The panel resolved to ensure that their comments and observations on the strategic final report would inform the Cabinet Member in their considerations. Additionally, they requested that, if timings allowed, the decision-making report on the future of Home Choice Lincs be considered by the Place Scrutiny Panel before any final decisions are made.
