Popeyes, Merlin House 122-126 Kilburn High Road

This was a new premises licence application for the restaurant Popeyes on Kilburn High Road for the licensable activity of late night refreshment between 11pm and 5am. The report pack stated that eight representations opposing the application had been received, from: the Police and Licensing Responsible Authorities, a Safer Neighbourhood scheme and five local residents. Concerns raised about the application included a likely increase in crime and disorder and public nuisance if the application were to be approved. The report pack stated that the premises is not located in a Cumulative Impact area.

47 Lamb's Conduit Street

The report pack said that this was a new premises licence application for 47 Lamb's Conduit Street. The application requested permission to sell alcohol on and off the premises. Five representations objecting to the application had been received from residents who live on the same street as the premises. Objections included concerns that approval would increase the existing problems of noise and anti-social behaviour in the area. The report pack stated that the premises is not located in a Cumulative Impact area.

Kazim Efes Restaurant, 56-56a Maple Street

This was an application to vary the existing premises licence of Kazim Efes Restaurant to include live music, the performance of dance and the provision of late night refreshments. The applicant was also requesting to vary the existing licensed hours for the sale of alcohol on the premises. The report pack stated that the Charlotte Street Association had made a representation objecting to the application on the grounds of public nuisance. The Association stated that:

These extended hours upto midnight and 1.00am, and especially for the Late Night Refreshment on the external terrace, as well as the Take Away, are very likely to cause noise and disturbance to the residents in the vicinity.

The report pack said that the premises is not located in a Cumulative Impact area.

Guidance on Remote Meetings held under the Licensing Act 2003 and Associated Regulations
