This meeting was scheduled to discuss an application for a new premises licence for Sankey's Pub in Pembury.
Application for a new premises licence - Sankey's Pub, Pembury
The application for Sankey's pub was for the sale of alcohol for consumption on and off the premises from 11am to 11pm, Monday to Sunday, with late night refreshment until 11:30pm. The application also requested permission for the performance of live and recorded music, indoors and outdoors, from 11am to 11pm, Monday to Sunday.
Three representations from 'other persons' objecting to the application were received. They mainly related to concerns about noise from the pub disturbing neighbours.
