Private Hire/Vehicles/Operators Licence related matters

The Licensing Sub-Committee has the authority to grant or refuse to grant licenses under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976¹. The sub-committee will be asked to consider whether applicants for these licences are “fit and proper” people to hold such a licence, as required by the act. The report pack states that:
