The Hertfordshire Police and Crime Panel will meet to discuss the appointment of a new Chief Constable for Hertfordshire Constabulary. The meeting will include a confirmation hearing, questions from the panel to the proposed candidate, and a closed session to agree the panel's recommendations.
Appointment of Chief Constable
The panel will consider the proposed appointment of a new Chief Constable by the Hertfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner. The meeting agenda includes a closed session to allow the panel to discuss the proposed appointment in private.
Following notification from the Hertfordshire Police and Crime Commissioner of his intention to appoint to the role of Chief Constable, the Hertfordshire Police and Crime Panel [will] hold a closed session to agree its recommendations.
The panel will also hold a confirmation hearing, with questions from the panel to both the proposed candidate and the Police and Crime Commissioner.
