The Upper Edmonton Ward Forum was scheduled to convene on Tuesday, 7th January 2025. The meeting's agenda included updates from the police, a special guest speaker, and opportunities for councillors to engage with residents.

Police Update

A significant portion of the meeting was allocated for a police update concerning the Haselbury, Lower Edmonton, and Upper Edmonton wards. This update was scheduled to be delivered by Tom B Gallagher SNT and was expected to last for 40 minutes.

Special Guest Speaker

Councillor Ergin Erbil, the Leader of Enfield Council, was scheduled to address the forum as a special guest speaker. His address was planned to last for 20 minutes. Councillor Erbil is the political leader of Enfield Council, responsible for setting the council's overall direction and priorities.

Councillor Updates and Resident Engagement

The agenda also included a 40-minute session for councillors' updates and a Meet Your Councillors segment. This was structured to allow councillors and residents from each ward to meet at separate tables for discussions. The councillors for Upper Edmonton scheduled to attend were Margaret Greer (Mayor), Doris Jiagge, and Thomas Fawns.

Additionally, a 30-minute slot was set aside for one-to-one sessions, providing residents with an opportunity to discuss matters privately with their ward councillors.

The meeting was scheduled to take place at St Demetrios Church Hall, Hal Logan Road, N9 0LP, and was open to all members of the public. Refreshments were to be provided. The date for the next meeting was set for Wednesday, 16th April 2025.
