Summary
The Licensing Sub-Committee of Boston Borough Council met on 24 April 2025 to discuss a licensing matter. Councillor Richard Austin BEM, Councillor John Baxter, Portfolio Holder - Housing, and Councillor Patricia Marson were scheduled to be in attendance. The main item for discussion was a review of a premises licence.
Blue Shop, 2 Eastwood Road, Boston
The sub-committee was scheduled to review the premises licence for Blue Shop, located at 2 Eastwood Road, Boston. Anna McDowell, Senior Licensing Officer, prepared a report for the sub-committee's consideration.
Before discussing the licence, the sub-committee was scheduled to consider a resolution to exclude the public and press from the hearing, because it was expected that the discussion would involve the disclosure of exempt information, as defined in the Local Government Act 19721.
The report pack included the procedure to be followed during the hearing. This included inviting the applicant and the Senior Licensing Officer into the room, introductions, a presentation of the report by the Senior Licensing Officer, questions from the sub-committee, and an address from the applicant.
