The panel were scheduled to consider a resolution to exclude the press and public from part of the meeting. This was planned under section 100A (4) of the Local Government Act 1972, because the discussion was expected to involve the disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 of part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.
