The Licensing Committee of Islington Council met on 20 May 2025 to discuss the appointment of licensing sub-committees for the upcoming year and to review the minutes of their previous meeting. The committee was also scheduled to consider if any items should be treated as urgent or exempt from press and public access.

Appointment of Licensing Sub-Committees

The committee was scheduled to discuss the appointment of Licensing Sub-Committees for 2025/2026 and the delegation of licensing functions. A document titled Appointment of Sub-Committees for 2025-2026 and Delegation of Licensing Functions FH was included in the public reports pack for consideration.

The report pack included three appendices:

Minutes from Previous Meeting

The public reports pack included the minutes from the meeting held on 17 December 2024. Councillors Joseph Croft, Councillor Heather Staff, Councillor Clare Jeapes, Councillor Gary Heather and Councillor Nurullah Turan were present at that meeting, which was chaired by Councillor Heather Staff.

The previous meeting included discussion of the following items:
