The Islington Council Licensing Committee convened on 14 July 2025, confirming the minutes of their previous meeting and amending the membership of Licensing Sub-Committee D. Councillor Nurullah Turan was appointed as the Vice-Chair of Licensing Sub-Committee D.

Licensing Sub-Committee Membership

The committee resolved to amend the membership of Licensing Sub-Committee D. Councillor Clare Jeapes remains as Chair, with Councillor Nurullah Turan appointed as Vice-Chair, and Councillor Phil Graham as a member. This change was made to Licensing Sub-Committee D only.

The public reports pack for the meeting also contained details of changes to sub-committee memberships that had been agreed at the meeting on 10 June 2025:

• Councillor Bashir Ibrahim (Chair), Councillor Marian Spall (Vice-Chair) and Councillor Nick Wayne for Licensing Sub-Committee B
• Councillor Valerie Bossman-Quarshie (Chair), Councillor Joseph Croft (Vice-Chair) and Councillor James Potts for Licensing Sub-Committee C

Formal Matters

The committee addressed several formal matters at the beginning of the meeting. Councillor Heather Staff, Chair of Licensing Committee, noted apologies for absence from some members. Members were asked to declare any interests related to the items on the agenda, but none were declared. The minutes of the previous meeting held on 10 June 2025 were approved and signed.
