The Licensing Act Sub Committee of Cornwall Council met on Wednesday, 3 September 2025, to consider one application to vary a premises licence. The Sub-Committee was scheduled to determine whether the application for Treloyhan Manor Hotel, Trelyon Avenue, St Ives, should be granted, with or without conditions and amendments, or refused. Treloyhan Manor Hotel, St Ives - Application to Vary a Premises Licence
The sub-committee was scheduled to consider an application from St Ives Assets Ltd to vary the premises licence for the Treloyhan Manor Hotel.
The Public Reports Pack stated that the existing licence described the premises as a hotel, permitting the supply of alcohol for consumption on the premises from Monday to Sunday between 08:00 and 00:00, with 24/7 service to residents. The hotel's opening hours were listed as Monday to Sunday 08:00 to 00:30, with 24 hour access for residents.
The applicant requested to:
- Extend licensable activities to the extent of the property.
- Bring the licence in line with a traditional hotel, with the ability to allow occasional music.
