The South Hams Audit and Governance (Hearing) Sub Committee are scheduled to meet on Thursday 9th October 2025. During the meeting, the committee, consisting of Councillor Lee Bonham, Chair of the committee, Councillor Sam Penfold, and Councillor Anna Presswell, will consider whether to exclude the public and press from the meeting, and will discuss an investigation report regarding a standards complaint.

Standards Complaint

The Sub Committee will consider the investigation reports for standards complaint RP/544243. According to the agenda frontsheet, a report is to follow, suggesting that the details of the complaint and investigation will be provided in a separate document.

Exclusion of Public and Press

The committee will consider a resolution to exclude the public and press from the meeting. This is to be done in accordance with Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, which allows for the exclusion of the public and press to avoid the disclosure of exempt information, as defined in paragraph 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Act.
