The Hampstead Heath, Highgate Wood and Queen's Park Committee are scheduled to meet on Tuesday 21 October 2025 to discuss reports and updates relating to Hampstead Heath, Highgate Wood and Queen's Park. The committee will be asked to make decisions on risk management and the appointment of a member of English Heritage¹. They will also receive a number of reports for information, including financial updates and assistant director's reports.

Risk Management

The committee will be asked to make decisions on risk management updates for both Hampstead Heath and Highgate Wood & Queen's Park. These reports include risk registers, which outline the key risks to the sites and the controls in place to manage them. The Hampstead Heath Risk Management Update Report October 2025 includes a risk register, as well as the City of London Corporation Risk Matrix. The Highgate Wood & Queens Park Risk Management Update Report October 2025 also includes a risk register and the City of London Corporation Risk Matrix.

Hampstead Heath

The committee will receive a number of reports relating to Hampstead Heath. The Assistant Director's Report (Hampstead Heath) will provide an update on activities and projects on the Heath. The Heath Hands Update will provide information on the work of Heath Hands, a volunteer organisation that supports the management of Hampstead Heath. The Operational Finance Progress Report Q1 2025/26 - Hampstead Heath will provide an overview of the Heath's financial performance in the first quarter of the financial year. The Draft Annual Report and Financial Statements for Year Ended 31 March 2025 - Hampstead Heath will provide a summary of the Heath's activities and financial performance over the past year.

Highgate Wood and Queen's Park

The committee will receive Assistant Director's Reports for both Highgate Wood and Queen's Park. These reports will provide updates on activities and projects in each location. The Operational Finance Progress Report Q1 2025/26 - Highgate Wood & Queens Park will provide an overview of the financial performance of both sites in the first quarter of the financial year. The Draft Annual Report and Financial Statements for Year Ended 31 March 2025 - Highgate Wood & Queens Park will provide a summary of the activities and financial performance of both sites over the past year.

The committee will consider the Appointment of a Representative of English Heritage Report.
