The Appointments Committee of Lewisham Council met on Wednesday 26 November 2025 to appoint a new Director of Housing Strategy. Modester Anucha was appointed to this role.
Appointment of Director of Housing Strategy
The committee resolved to appoint Modester Anucha as the Director of Housing Strategy. In the event that Modester Anucha withdraws from the process or the appointment is not concluded, delegated authority has been given to the Executive Director of Housing to offer the role to the committee's reserve candidates in order of preference. The press and public were excluded from this part of the meeting due to the likely disclosure of exempt information.
