The Appointments Committee of Lewisham Council met on Monday 23 March 2026 to appoint a new Director of Family Quality and Commissioning. The committee appointed Martin Clement to this role.

The committee resolved to appoint Martin Clement as the Director of Family Quality and Commissioning. The press and public were excluded from this part of the meeting due to the likely disclosure of exempt information.
The meeting was attended by Councillor Edison Huynh (Chair), Councillor Paul Bell (Cabinet Member for Health, Wellbeing and Adult Social Care), Councillor Joan Millbank, and Councillor Stephen Penfold.
