The Staff Appeals, Appointment and Remuneration Committee of Enfield Council met on Wednesday 15 April 2026 to conduct final stage interviews for two senior positions. The meeting resulted in the appointment of Aneesh Maini as Director of Development and Sarah Lovell as Director of Regeneration.

Director of Development and Director of Regeneration Appointments

The committee conducted final stage interviews for the positions of Director of Development and Director of Regeneration. Following these interviews, Aneesh Maini was appointed as the new Director of Development. Sarah Lovell was appointed as the new Director of Regeneration. The interviews and subsequent appointments were conducted in private session, with the press and public excluded due to the likely disclosure of exempt information relating to individuals, as permitted under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972.^[1]

The meeting was attended by Councillor Susan Erbil (Cabinet Member for Planning and Regulatory Services), Councillor Lee Chamberlain, and Councillor Ayten Guzel (Cabinet Member for Housing). No apologies for absence were received, and no declarations of interest were made by the committee members.
