Cabinet - Wednesday, 18th September, 2024 2.00 pm
The meeting made a number of decisions. It approved the Our Greenwich Annual Plan for 2024-26. It agreed to vary the tenure mix for the final phase of the Woolwich Estates regeneration, resulting in the Council receiving 53 new homes on the site, rather than the 90 that were originally planned. It also approved the scheme and estimate for the development of a new all-through school for children with special educational needs and disabilities at Hargood Road. It agreed to adopt the Statement of Community Involvement and Developers’ Engagement Charter. Finally, it agreed to enter into a lease with Golden Lane Housing to enable the long-term occupation of the flats and shared house at Royal Hill.
Licensing Sub-Committee C - Tuesday, 17th September, 2024 10.30 am
This meeting of the Licensing Sub-Committee was scheduled to consider two applications. The first was for the grant of a new premises licence for the sale of alcohol for Fan Zone, Charlton Athletic Football Club, Floyd Road, London SE7 8BL. The Overview & Scrutiny Call-in Sub-Committee met to discuss whether to 'call-in' a decision about the future of two of the council's trading companies. They also were scheduled to note the outside bodies that councillors are members of.
Licensing Sub-Committee B - Monday, 12th August, 2024 10.30 am
This meeting was about making decisions on applications for new and modified licences for the sale of alcohol in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. The Sub-Committee were scheduled to consider an application for a new licence to sell alcohol at the Charlton Post Office and Convenience Store at 10-12 Charlton Church Lane in Charlton. The meeting was also scheduled to consider an application to vary the existing licence at the Shell Shooters Hill petrol station to allow the sale of alcohol for consumption off the premises.
