Royal Greenwich Council met on 26 March 2025, and among other items, noted the annual audit report, discussed corporate parenting, and approved the members' allowances scheme for 2025-26. Councillors also debated petitions from residents and discussed issues ranging from traffic management to knife crime. The council approved a motion regarding dockless cycles, and an amended motion on the economic impact assessment of selling off council car parks.

Pension Board - Monday, 17th March, 2025 11.30 am

This meeting was scheduled to discuss the Pension Fund's Draft Business Plan, review the process for publishing various Fund documents, and note a number of reports including the Fund Manager Performance Report, minutes of the previous Pension Panel meeting and the Pension Fund Risk Register. The meeting was also scheduled to receive a presentation from Legal and General Investment Management (LGIM) on the Funds Global Low Carbon Equities.

Licensing Sub-Committee B - Wednesday, 12th March, 2025 10.30 am

The Licensing Sub-Committee B of the Royal Borough of Greenwich met to consider an application for a new premises licence for a delicatessen and restaurant named Rupert & Teddy in Unit A, 32 Horseferry Place in Greenwich. The Sub-Committee granted the application, as amended, after receiving assurances from the applicants about the nature of their business and its impact on the local area.

The meeting approved the Council's Statement of Accounts for 2023-24, its Treasury Management and Capital Strategy for 2025-26, the Housing Revenue Account medium-term financial strategy, budget and rent setting, and its Medium Term Financial Strategy and budget and council tax setting for 2025-26.

The Council agreed to reduce the maximum level of support available through the Local Council Tax Support Scheme 2025-26 from 100% to 80% and agreed to reduce the time before charging a Council Tax Premium to unfurnished and unoccupied properties from 2 years to 12 months. They also noted the appointment of Councillor Sandra Bauer as the new Cabinet Member for Equality, Culture and Communities, and voted to adopt a motion on protecting leaseholders from the cost of fire safety remediation work.
