The Hackney Licensing Sub-Committee decided to refuse the application for a premises licence for Gauchoworld Space on 07/10/2026. The application was refused as the committee considered granting it would undermine the licensing objectives. The decision was made after considering representations from local residents and responsible authorities regarding public nuisance and disorder.

The Licensing Sub Committee A of Hackney Council agreed the minutes of previous meetings held on 3 August, 20 July, 14 July, and 24 June 2026. The committee approved a premises licence for Ground Floor, 74 Great Eastern Street, London EC2A 3JL, subject to amended conditions including CCTV, staff availability, incident logs, and SIA door supervisors on Friday and Saturday nights. The committee also approved a variation of a premises licence for The Stags Head, 55 Orsman Road, London, N1 5RA, extending hours for live and recorded music, late night refreshment, and alcohol sales, subject to amended conditions regarding garden closing times, smoking areas, and a noise limiter.

Licensing Sub Committee C of Hackney Council decided on 07 October 2026 that no Temporary Event Notices were considered at the hearing.
