Cheadle Area Committee decided to approve an application from North West Steel Band Association for Ward Flexibility Funding. The committee granted £142.80 towards the cost of hosting their annual concert on St Peter’s Square, Stockport, in June 2027.

Cheadle Area Committee decided to approve the allocation of £4,880 from the Delegated Budget for a vehicle height control barrier at William Scholes Park. This decision was made on 20/10/2026. The committee approved the purchase and installation of a heavy duty swing beam vehicle height control barrier.

Cheadle Area Committee nominated councillors to lay wreaths at local Remembrance Day services. Councillor David Meller will represent Cheadle, Councillor Graham Greenhalgh will represent Gatley, and Councillor Carole McCann will represent Heald Green.

The Cheadle Area Committee approved the Tree Preservation Order at Outwood Road, Heald Green, on 20 October 2026. The decision included the beech tree at 220 Outwood Road.
