Wiltshire Police and Crime Panel - Tuesday 25 November 2025 10.30 am

The Wiltshire Police and Crime Panel met to discuss a number of issues, including an update from Police and Crime Commissioner Philip Wilkinson, OBE, MPhil, a performance report, and retail crime. The meeting was also scheduled to include a discussion of the role of special constables and ways to improve communication with the public.

Melksham Area Board - Wednesday 12 November 2025 7.00 pm

The Melksham Area Board met to discuss community funding, highway improvements, and youth services in the area. Councillors approved funding for the Corsham Windband Association and Age UK Wiltshire, and also agreed to add a dropped kerb crossing in Bader Park, Bowerhill to the priority schemes list. A decision on funding for a pedestrian refuge island on Eastern Way, Melksham was deferred until the next meeting.

Council - Tuesday 21 October 2025 10.30 am

The Wiltshire Council meeting on 21 October 2025 addressed a range of topics, including the approval of the Our Wiltshire Plan 2025-2035, an update on the council's response to the climate emergency, and discussions on various motions from council members. The Wiltshire Council was scheduled to meet to discuss a statutory recommendation from external auditors, Grant Thornton, regarding delays in the preparation of the council's financial accounts. The council was expected to consider the recommendation and approve a response.
