The Communities Housing and Environment Cabinet Advisory Board met on Tuesday 3 March 2026 to discuss a range of important issues affecting residents. Key decisions included the adoption of the Community Safety Partnership Plan 2026-27, the implementation of a Public Spaces Protection Order for dogs in The Grove, and the endorsement of the Royal Victoria Place Business Plan 2026-27. The Board also reviewed and recommended for adoption the refreshed Health Inequalities Action Plan 2026-29, the council's first Biodiversity Duty Report, and the Housing Assistance Policy 2026-30. Further discussions covered updates to the planning validation checklist, the progression of neighbourhood development plans for Sandhurst and Southborough and High Brooms, and the review of the Statement of Community Involvement.
