Health and Safety Committee - Tuesday, 3rd February, 2026 6.30 pm

The Health and Safety Committee meeting on 03 February 2026 addressed several key issues, including the provision and location of defibrillators across the borough, an analysis of incidents within Lewisham's libraries, and an update on general health and safety matters. Decisions were made to continue exploring funding for defibrillators and to investigate further the causes and management of incidents in libraries, particularly those related to anti-social behaviour.

Council - Wednesday, 28 January 2026 - 7.30 pm

The Council of Lewisham Council met on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, to discuss the council's treasury management outturn and mid-year review for 2025/26, the setting of the 2026/27 Council Tax and National Non-Domestic Rates (NNDR) base, and a review of the council's constitution. The meeting also included discussions on the appointment of co-opted members to the Children and Young People Select Committee and several motions submitted by councillors.

Safer Stronger Communities Select Committee - Tuesday, 6th January, 2026 7.00 pm

The Safer Stronger Communities Select Committee met to discuss the Corporate Equalities Update and progress on tackling domestic violence and violence against women and girls (VAWG). Key decisions included noting the progress on the Single Equalities Framework and the ongoing work to improve representation and accessibility within the council and the borough.

Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday, 16th December, 2025 7.00 pm

The Overview and Scrutiny Committee is scheduled to discuss the Lewisham Transformation Plan and the borough's economic development strategy, Inclusive Economy Lewisham. The committee will be asked to note the Transforming Lewisham Plan and its intended outcomes, and to comment on updates regarding the Inclusive Economy Lewisham strategy.
