The Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) meeting scheduled for 28 April 2026 was set to review updates on the locally agreed syllabus for Religious Education (RE), analyse recent inspection reports from Ofsted, SIAMS, and Catholic schools, and discuss the SACRE's action plan and work programme. The meeting also aimed to consider workforce census data from Lincolnshire secondary schools to understand the provision and impact of RE.

The Lincolnshire Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) met on 11 November 2025, and elected Chris Burke as Chairman and Cherry Edwards OBE as Vice-Chairman for 2025/26. Members reviewed the current membership of SACRE, and agreed to recommend changes to the local authority to allow for broader representation across the education sector. The council also approved the SACRE Action Plan for 2025-26, which outlines key priorities for the coming year.

The Lincolnshire Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) met on 15 July 2025 to discuss the implementation of the new religious education syllabus, Ofsted [^2] inspection outcomes, and future support for schools. The council also agreed to hold their next meeting in Grantham. Due to a lack of representation from each committee, decisions made at the meeting will need to be ratified at the next meeting.
