The Cabinet approved the acceptance of £2.2m in grant funding from the Department for Work and Pensions for the Connect to Work programme. They also approved the delegation of approvals for delivery partners to the Director of Education and Skills, Corporate Director of Children and Education, and Corporate Director of Resources. Wiltshire Council Cabinet approved the acceptance of the Connect to Work Grant from the Department for Work and Pensions on 29/04/2026. The Cabinet approved a £2.2m grant award to The Shaw Trust Limited for specialist IPS provision and delegated subsequent specialist delivery approvals to directors in consultation with the Lead Member.

Wiltshire Council Cabinet approved the transfer of freehold interest in the Central Car Park Public Conveniences, Salisbury, to Salisbury City Council on 29 April 2026. The Director of Assets is authorised to dispose of the freehold interest if Salisbury City Council accepts it. This decision enables Salisbury City Council to directly deliver public convenience services to its residents.
