The committee granted permission for five residential dwellings in Milton Malsor, subject to numerous conditions, and refused an outline application for up to 100 homes on Harlestone Road and York Way in Northampton.

Councillors approved reserved matters for industrial buildings at Towcester Park and approved recommendations for the Kab Seating Ltd site, while also refusing the Podium Business Park application and deferring a decision on the Car Park Railway Station application.

The Strategic Planning Committee of West Northamptonshire Council met to discuss several planning applications, approving a primary school and a distribution warehouse, and deferring a decision on a housing development. The committee approved the construction of a new primary school at Buckton Fields and a storage and distribution building at Zone A, DIRFT, while a decision on a housing development on land north west of Upper High Street, Harpole, was deferred.
