West Area Committee

West Area Committee - Monday 24th February, 2025 7.00 pm

The committee awarded funding to several projects in the area, including community food growing, a green shield around All Saints School, playground improvements in Golders Hill Park, repairs to the Emmanuel Centre, and a sports programme in Grahame Park. The committee approved a request for funding for a food growing project in Hollickwood Park. The remaining three funding applications made by Councillors were rejected.

The East Area Committee approved funding for the Church Lane Community Garden. The Committee deferred decisions on funding applications for pavement renewal works at Hayes Crescent and the development of an inclusive playground at New Southgate Recreation Ground.

The West Area Committee met and agreed to note the status of their Neighbourhood Community Infrastructure Levy (NCIL) budget and the Road Safety & Parking (RS&P) budget, both of which are funded by the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL). They also approved a number of grants from their NCIL budget.
