Extraordinary Council, Council - Tuesday 2nd December, 2025 7.00 pm

Planning Committee - Monday 17th November, 2025 7.00 pm

The Barnet Council Planning Committee met on 17 November 2025, to discuss a range of planning applications. The committee approved a care home development at 84 West Heath Road, a two-storey rear extension and additional storey at 25 Granville Road, and a part single, part two-storey side and rear extension at 29 The Hook. Councillors refused permission for the use of a swimming pool for commercial purposes at 30 Allandale Avenue, and a part three, part four, part five storey building with nine flats at 217-219 Golders Green Road. A decision on an application for a change of use at 114 Finchley Lane was deferred.

Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Thursday 13th November, 2025 7.00 pm

The Overview and Scrutiny Committee of Barnet Council met on 13 November 2025, to discuss several key issues including a new Parks and Open Spaces Strategy, temporary accommodation pressures, and the council's financial forecast. The committee made recommendations to the cabinet regarding the consultation period for the Parks and Open Spaces Strategy, and requested more detailed information on the action plan. Strategic Planning Committee - Tuesday 11th November, 2025 7.00 pm

The Strategic Planning Committee met to discuss an application to amend a previously approved planning permission for Autopia House, 231 Colney Hatch Lane, London, N11 3DG. The committee voted to grant planning permission for the amended plans, subject to a Section 106 agreement[^2] and referral to the Mayor of London.
