The Brentford and Syon Area Forum met to discuss weed management, the Brentford Leisure Centre, and updates from Transport for London (TfL). The meeting also provided an opportunity for ward updates from councillors and an open forum for residents to raise questions.

The Hounslow Borough Council meeting included the adoption of a new transport strategy, discussion of member allowances, and a review of the council's constitution. Councillors also approved the appointment of independent members to the Audit and Governance Committee and addressed questions on street lighting and other local issues.

The meeting on the 17th of March was scheduled to discuss three planning applications, one for the redevelopment of the Gillette Building in Isleworth for use as film studios, and two for the variation of conditions for two residential developments that were already approved, one at Manderson House on Commerce Road in Brentford, and one at Charlton House on Albany Road also in Brentford. The documents do not describe what was discussed at the meeting, or whether any decisions were actually made.

Budget Setting Meeting, Borough Council - Tuesday, 25 February 2025 7:30 pm

The meeting approved the council’s budget for 2025-26 and appointed an interim chief executive. It also discussed the Council Tax Support Scheme and a petition presented by a Councillor asking the council to rethink its policy of dimming streetlights.

This meeting was about making decisions on two planning applications. The first application was to vary the conditions on the construction of 473 homes on the site of the former Homebase in Isleworth. The second was for the erection of 71 homes on the site of Units 5-6 Victory Business Centre in Hounslow South.
