Councillors were also expected to consider motions relating to roadside verges and planning policy.

The Standards Sub-Committee of Shropshire Council met on 2 July 2025, at The Guildhall, Frankwell Quay, Shrewsbury to address several code of conduct complaints. The agenda included the election of a chairman for the meeting and declarations of interest, before moving into a closed session to discuss the complaints.

The Council of Shropshire Council convened to address several key items, including the election of a council leader, the appointment of cabinet members, and the constitution of committees. Councillors were also scheduled to discuss the allocation of seats to political groups, appointments to outside bodies, and a scheme of delegation. The meeting was also set to acknowledge the service of retiring councillors.
