The Audit and Risk Management Panel of Greenwich Council met on Wednesday, 21 January 2026, to review the performance of the Internal Audit and Anti-Fraud services for the third quarter of the financial year and to discuss the compliance of the Internal Audit function with Global Internal Audit Standards (GIAS). The Panel noted the progress made in delivering the audit plan and the outcomes of fraud investigations, and agreed to a future report detailing the development plan for the Internal Audit function.

The Royal Borough of Greenwich Licensing Committee met to discuss the adoption of a revised Statement of Licensing Policy and to appoint members to Licensing Sub-Committees. The committee agreed to commend the revised Statement of Licensing Policy to the Full Council for approval and appointed members to serve on the Licensing Sub-Committees.

General Purposes Committee - Thursday, 23rd January, 2025 6.30 pm

The meeting agreed the salary range for the Director of Public Health, and noted the Chief Executive's authority to establish an appointments panel. The meeting also agreed the salary ranges for eight new positions in the Resources Directorate.
