The Strategic Planning Committee of West Northamptonshire Council approved recommendations on 16/12/2025. The decision was to grant permission for the redevelopment of land at Northampton Station, subject to additional conditions and the completion of a S106 Agreement. This includes financial contributions for healthcare, education, employment and skills training, library provisions, affordable housing, open space, and landscape maintenance.

...approval was granted, subject to conditions, for the reserved matters (appearance, landscaping, layout, and scale) for 233 residential dwellings, associated infrastructure, and landscaping at Phase 2A of the Norwood Farm development.

... to grant permission, subject to conditions and a Section 106 legal agreement, for a hybrid planning application (reference 2024/0672/MAO) to build 100 dwellings with full planning permission and 350 dwellings with outline planning permission on land north west of Upper High Street, Harpole, including associated infrastructure and open space.

The Strategic Planning Committee of West Northamptonshire Council deferred the decision on the Car Park Railway Station, Black Lion Hill, Northampton application on 21 October 2025. The reasons for the deferral are to be set out in the Minutes.

The Strategic Planning Committee approved the reserved matters application for two industrial and/or storage and distribution buildings at Towcester Park. The decision was made on 21 October 2025. The approval is subject to conditions including details of crime prevention measures, hours of operation, site lighting, colour banding, sustainability, noise and vibration, and drainage.
